Industry Dialogue holds Quarterly Meeting

The Telecommunications Industry Dialogue held its most recent quarterly meeting on December 17, 2013 in Helsinki, Finland.  The meeting was hosted by Nokia Solutions and Networks and featured a demonstration at the NSN Solution Experience Center (pictured above).

During the meeting, ID participants discussed how to make stakeholder outreach a more central focus of the Industry Dialogue’s work, and they identified the recruitment of new member companies as a high priority for 2014.  ID companies shared their plans for reporting on the implementation of the ID Guiding Principles and spoke about ideas for implementing operation-level grievance mechanisms.  Fruitful debates also took place on how telecommunications companies can approach the challenge of increasing demands for greater transparency in the sector.
